Radiant Security, the leading provider of AI-enhanced Security Operations solutions that enable SOCs to leverage Gen AI to triage, investigate, and respond to security alerts, today announced the company was named a Sample Vendor” for AI-Enhanced Security Operations in the 2023 Gartner® Emerging Tech Impact Radar: Security report.
According to the Gartner report, unlike most prior AI development in security offerings, which has focused on detecting weak or anomalous signals missed by traditional methods, “AI enhanced security operations are leveraged for postdetection actions, including alert prioritization, augmented threat detection and hunting, secure code assistants, playbook creation, and the automation of specific incident response (IR) processes.”
The report also mentions that “All this will speed up and increase the efficacy of alert triage, enhance alert enrichment, enable better correlation of low-level alerts and telemetry across multiple source systems, and ultimately improve analyst accuracy and response times. AI can also be leveraged as a support assistant and guide to human analysts, providing guidance on product usage and answering questions about how to use a vendor’s solution. “
“We are grateful to accept this recognition, which we believe is acknowledging Radiant Security’s contribution to innovating and advancing AI-enhanced Security Operations as part of our AI-powered SOC co-pilot,” said Shahar Ben-hador, CEO and co-founder at Radiant Security.
Radiant is the leading AI-powered SOC co-pilot; it enables security operations centers (SOCs) to leverage the power of Gen AI to detect real attacks, reduce remediation times to minutes, and drastically boost analyst productivity. With Radiant, alerts are automatically triaged using Gen AI so that SOCs can eliminate their security alert queues, regardless of their capacity. Uncovered incidents are automatically investigated to determine what happened, what caused it, & to create an incident specific response plan which analysts can launch at the click of a button.
